Ethernet jacks & cable runs
Dedicated connections for workspaces, TVs and other equipment, with neat terminations and labeled runs.
Ethernet & structured Wiring
Ethernet jacks, useful cable routes and an organized foundation for the technology in your home.
Built into the details
From adding a connection to a home office to planning a renovation, the wiring deserves the same care as the equipment.
Dedicated connections for workspaces, TVs and other equipment, with neat terminations and labeled runs.
Plan cable paths and useful connection points while access is available, with future needs in mind.
Cabling to practical access-point locations instead of placing equipment only where a socket happens to be.
Thoughtful routes to entrances, driveways and exterior camera locations.
Speaker and signal connections considered alongside room layouts, seating and controls.
Connections checked and clearly identified to make handover and later service easier.
The right route depends on construction, access and the finish you want. We discuss those details before agreeing the work.
Discuss Ethernet installationEthernet, speakers & prewire
Agree the locations before choosing the cable routes.
Ethernet provides a dedicated network connection and can reduce the streaming load on shared Wi-Fi. It also gives the installer a cable path that can be labeled, tested and serviced.
We check the TV or streamer’s Ethernet capability and the wider network. A cable alone does not change the internet plan or every device’s performance. Plan the jack behind the screen or at the equipment location, with access for service.
Network-capable streamers and amplifiers can use Ethernet where supported. Passive speakers need speaker cable from compatible amplification. Those are two separate connections with different jobs.
Plan the zone boundaries, amplifier channels, speaker loads and control method together. Separate zones can share music or play independently when the selected system supports it.
Open framing makes it easier to put devices and wall plates where they belong. Plan APs, TV support, camera views, speakers and the headend before drywall, then document and test the runs.
A little clarity
During construction prewire, before the walls close. Plan TVs, access points, cameras, speakers, wall plates and the headend together, then confirm performance after the home is finished.
Yes. We assess the available routes and finishes, then agree a practical approach to the cable runs and wall plates.
A pipe alone does not make cable suitable for underground use. The cable and route must be selected for moisture, exposure and the actual installation.
Plan now. Choose at your pace.
Compare example tiers and see how prewire lets you choose equipment in stages. Every home is quoted individually.
